What do you want to get out of this course?
Aside from expanding my knowledge in the subject of Photography, I would like to have the basic tertiary education experience in my favour. This being so I can have the confidence to further study not only in this field of visual art, but grasp the overall feel of the environment that the tertiary education system provides and encourages.
Where do you see yourself after this course?
I hope to be participating in more tertiary study at MIT in the Visual Arts field.
What does photography mean to you?
Not only has photography been a strong creative outlet for me since I was 8 years old, but it is one of my deepest passions. I feel as though photography has the power to make a person feel and see something that they never have before, through an image. I believe it is a very powerful form of self expression and can change ones way of thought and interpretation.
Photographer, Yann Arthus-Bertrand once said; "The earth is art, the photographer is only a witness". I completely agree and consider myself rather lucky to be able to photograph such beauty.
I hope to pursue a career in this field of art so I can be blessed with the ideal of waking up every morning to do something I love.
