Portfolio - Second Shoot

Second Portfolio Shoot:

Model: Vanessa, 13 years.

For this photoshoot, I used a different model; thirteen year old Vanessa who, when being serious and note laughing and telling jokes, has remarkable confidence in front of the camera and could be seen as having the professionalism of a trained child model. Aside from her obvious beauty and being incredibly photogenic, the weather conditions made it rather difficult to shoot in natural light. With the grey skies dimming any light coming through the window, it became increasingly difficult to get a clear shot with nice light resulting in an  unwanted ISO level increase because of the image softness that came along with it. I want all my images to be crisp and clear.

I feel that Vanessa's innocence is so palpable in these shots what with her lack of makeup and glowing skin and freckles. This time around I tried to include some more of-age digital appliances for the shoot like giving her my phone to play on to reflect her age group who have been brought up with digital technology as a concession of the materialistic first world. I am pleased with how these turned out given the unfortunate weather-oriented circumstances.
